英文面試是求職者於年後轉職得模擬情境，尤其應徵外商和大企業的職缺時，更要善用談判及描述自身經歷的英文句型，「TOEIC」（多益）和《English OK》也都紛紛整理相關句型，提供求職者參考，以便能在英文面試中，順利過關斬將，錄取心中理想職位。

TOEIC官方指出，許多面試官會詢問求職者上一份工作的薪水，藉此做為公司起薪的考量，是勞資雙方談判的重要時刻，常見英文問法：
What did you make in your previous position?
How much did you make in your previous job?

這兩句的意思為「你前一個職位的薪水是多少？」，動詞make在此代表「賺錢」的意思。有些主管會用更婉轉地方式詢問：
Do you mind me asking you what you made at your previous job, RRR Company?
「介意我問一下你之前在RRR公司的薪水是多少嗎？」

TOEIC官方說明，若求職者願意回答自己薪資，可簡單回覆：
My base salary is 60,000 per month plus performance bonus.
「我的底薪是每個月六萬，再加上績效獎金。」

如果想以年薪談判，可回答：
Currently, I make 800,000 per year with a minimum of a 2-month year-end bonus.
「目前我年薪八十萬，每年至少有兩個月的年終獎金。」

TOEIC官方觀察，並非每位求職者都會想提及薪資、福利等個人隱私問題，因此可迴避說： 
To be honest, I’m not sure if my previous salary is relevant with regard to this position. It was in a different company with different responsibilities.
「老實說，我不確定之前的薪資與這份職務會有關聯。那是在另一間公司的薪資，職務內容也所不同。」
 

《English OK》補充，求職者也可更婉轉地說：
I'm sure we’ll find a number that works for both of us, but for now, I hope to make sure it’s a good fit.
該句意思為「我相信我們一定能找到雙方都滿意的數字，不過目前我希望先能確定這是份合適的工作。」works for both of us意味「對兩邊都行得通」，而a good fit的fit為名詞的「適合」意思。

TOEIC官方認為，面試人員對求職者理想薪資的常見問法，如下：
How much are you expecting to make at this job?
「對於這份職務，你的期望薪資是多少？」 

What is your salary expectation? 
「你的薪資期望是多少？」
 

求職者可善用下列句型，讓對方明白自身想法： 
I'm focusing on a position in the 45K range. That would be a good starting point.
「我的目標是設定在一個月四萬五左右的工作，那會是一個很好的起始點。」
 

此外，TOEIC強調，薪資以外的福利及條件，如休假（day off）、每週工時（hours of work per week）及假日是否要加班（work on weekends）等，也是求職者均得在英文面試中詢問，常見問法如下：
I would like to know how many days off I can get per year. 
「我想知道每年能休多少天。」
 

Could you tell me more about the benefits package that's being offered for this role?
「可以告訴我更多關於這個職位提供的福利待遇嗎？」

Excuse me, I would like to know how many hours of work per week? 
「不好意思，我想了解一下一週的工時是多少？」
 

Typically, do people in this position need to work on weekends? 
「一般而言，假日需要工作嗎？」
